Designing the wardrobe for the movie was quite challenging, but use of the day-to-day cloths to be used by the main characters works pretty well. The realistic (real in most cases) locations adds the authenticity (in terms of the movie canvas) to the movie. The city of Kolkata is explored pretty well. We must say that the scriptwriter and director did their job effectively. The screenplay writer’s main job was to set the events in Indian environment and change them for the target audience. The script have good backing of the original story and is meant to be compelling. There is no scope of having traditional Bollywood movie songs in the story and good thing is they are not forced into too. It sets up the mood and mode of the scene perfectly. The background music of the movie is one of the most effective postie aspects of the same. It seems that she can give fantastic performance when given scope. Padmavati Rao is very effective in her even smaller role. Satyabrata have small yet important role (Manohar Sinha) which he justifies and makes his presence felt.
Both of them are convincing in their roles.
In fact Vidya Balan’s role is very small. In this movie, however their roles are not so challenging. Vidya Balan and Nawazudding Siddiqui are two notable actors and they have given some fantastic performances in past. The way he walks, talks and does the things are all convincing. His body language also complements his acting. It is a fantastic performance by him without a doubt. If there is a single thing you can watch the movie for, it is acting of Amitabh Bachchan. The movie explores it quite interestingly, and is better to be explored on screen Will they be able to find out the truth about Angela’s kidnapping also, while trying to resolve this case? In current time, there happens a similar kidnapping of a boy _ (grandson of Manohar Sinha) which links these three fellows with the same mission Catch the kidnapper. Martin have something in his past which is still haunting him. When a similar kidnapping is happened, he was called in for help by Sarita Sarkar. He was in fact the investigating officer of the kidnapping of Angela Biswas. Martin was in the police department before being a Father in the church. Good at heart Sarita is hardworking police officer. She eventually gets a very similar case of kidnapping. The incharge of the police station John pays visit to. He can go upto any extent to get to reality of this mishap. Since 8 years he regularly pays visit to the police station to know if there is any information updated about his kidnapped grand daughter – Angela Biswas. The overall packaging is aesthetic and does qualify to be called as a neatly made product.John is an old fellow living in Kolkata with his wife _. The album lacks in triggering the emotional quotient. Work behind the camera by Tushar Kanti Ray is functional, so is the BGM by Clinton Cerejo. More focus and homework on screenplay could have warded off this obstacle.
By placing all the major twists and turns of the plot which turn out to be an exciting part of the story in the second half, knowingly or unknowingly, makes the first half of the film very weak and slow. The turn the plot takes at the interval block gives back hope to any viewer appreciation to the storyteller for that decision. He seems to have attained the highest level of ‘gyan’ in terms of portraying any character given to him in a unique yet extremely relatable way. The extended cameo played by Vidya Balan could have been carried by any other actor as the scope for the character to demand a lot from a performer like Vidya is very less.Īmitabh Bachchan is definitely growing out of being reviewed. His easiness in body language and rigidity in only required instances come across as another strong statement supporting his caliber as a performer. Nawazuddin Siddiqui as usual lives through his character as a retired cop turned priest very casually. The time taken could have been reduced to make this an at least 80% engaging affair unfortunately the percentage stands at 50 only. Te3n is an official remake of the South Korean flick Montage and it has been presented by Ribhu Dasgupta in Hindi.įalling into the thriller genre, Te3n takes time to grab all your attention. Amitabh Bachchan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Vidya Balan starrer Te3n is one such film that elevates your expectation even before witnessing what the story holds for you.
